Somehow accidentally he became a legend of Polish furniture design. Interior designer, furniture and pianos designer for musical instruments factories in Kalisz and Legnica. Designer of 366 easy chair which we revived in 2014. Joseph Chierowski – Polish design icon.

As mentioned, the designer somewhat accidentally became a legend of Polish furniture design, and all started from a fire in a furniture factory in Świebodzice. In the early 60’s fire destroyed the factory and management faced the problem of lack of furniture.

At that moment a young designer Joseph Chierowski offered to the authorities of factory to implement the production of his own original designed chair. Certainly he not sensed then that is where the story of Polish legend of design begin. 366 easy chair was produced until the mid- 80’s in the amount of more than 500 000 items!

Chierowski’s easy chair was simple in the production due to the shapely form, and convenience of the upholstery. With these features very quickly it became a hit sales between 60’ and 80’s and its creator became the Polish design icon. Because of this we decided in the 366 Concept to revive this remarkable chair.
